 These pages deal with the known direct and collateral ancestors of my parents Henry Lee Spencer of Plaistow, West Ham, London and Kathleen Thompson of Shaneragh Townland, Dromore, County Tyrone. They make available the current information in my family history database with the goal of meeting and working with like-minded relatives (close or distant) researching the same family lines.  When you first access this website you are signed on as 'guest'. All the features of the site are visible to you except information about living persons. If you're a relative, you may register for an account, giving access to information about living persons. If you're interested in helping build, correct, and maintain the database, you could register for an administrator's account.  This site, powered by TNG v8, is feature rich; explore the many options! For each person, you can view their family group sheet, showing their details, and those of their spouse and children; or, several types of 'trees'.  Information on this site accompanied by a 'source' is as reliable as possible within the resources available to the compiler of the facts. Facts with no 'sources' require some caution; they are probably valid, but the proof is not in yet.  Without doubt many of my ancestors were sincere believers in the Christian faith, would have wholeheartedly endorsed its expression in the Apostle's Creed, and hoped to see each other after death. Since a person's faith is between themselves and God, it's not something that appears in Genealogical databases - but we deeply desire that all our relatives come to know the redeeming work of Christ in their lives. |
 At present this site contains four independent family databases or 'family trees': Spencer (my Father's line), Dobinson (my Father's Mother's line), Thompson (my Mother's line), and Fyffe (my Mother's Mother's line). Information in these databases is not able to be transferred internally between the databases on this website. For this reason information about some persons is duplicated on several databases so complete pedigrees can be drawn.
